I would say a tuner would be able to pick up NIStune, Zem or one of the other emulator type solutions and have no trouble adjusting the fuel and timing maps. You might have to give them a bit of assistance with the interface but everything else is pretty straightforward. Piggybacking seems like a blunt instrument in comparison to a real ECU tuning tool because you have to either retard timing AND richen the A/F or advance timing AND lean the A/F.
